The introduction of the digital to analog converter N°30 and the CD-Transport N°31 in 1991 and 1992, which were widely acknowledged as the finest digital playback system, strenghened the acceptance of digital music reproduction in the High End community. A further milestone was set by the N°40, a monumental audio/video processor which made playback of the compressed sound formats Dolby Digital and DTS enjoyable to even audiophile ears.
